GST

GST is a revolutionary step taken by the Government of India to eliminate any kind of indirect taxes. This step was taken at a national level and required huge amount of planning and dedication. This process required multiple parties to come together and work together as a team and Arihant played an important role in this bridging up.

Goods and Service Tax (GST) is an indirect tax levied on the supply of goods and services. This law has replaced many indirect tax laws that previously existed in India. GST is one indirect tax for the entire country.  On 1st July 2017 the GST Law came into force. There are 3 taxes applicable under this system: CGST, SGST & IGST.

GSTN has appointed 34 GSP (GST Suvidha Provider) and provide an access of API built by them, So this way GSTN and GSP can communicate with each other for Uploading above Register and getting March / Mismatch if credit and details of Credit and cash register maintained on GSTN portal.

Role of GSP

GSP provides a secured tunnel which feeds in data from ASP (in other words, ASP’s output becomes input for GSP), submits it on GSTN and generates acknowledgement.

Role of ASP

ASPs will focus on taking taxpayers’ raw data on sales and purchases and converting it into the GST returns (in case of multiple registrations, it is a huge task manually). These GST returns, or GSTRs, will then be filed on behalf of the filer with GSTN via the GSP. ASPs will act as a link between the taxpayers and the GSPs.

Our Role:

  • The interaction between the GSP and ASP is the important part in implementing the GSTN. So we are acting as a strong bridge between the GSP and ASP.
  • We provided the white labeling solutions of Registered GSP to various companies.
  • We have vendors who voluntarily opened the GST suvidha centers for filling GST.
